Grace United Church was established in 2008 by Pastor Bishnu & Mon Rai along with their younger son, George Rai, after moving from Nepal. The church began as a small family gathering for worship in their apartment in Winooski, Vermont. Through God’s grace and guidance, the congregation slowly grew, leading to the need for a larger worship space.

          As the church expanded, we began renting space at the First United Methodist Church in Winooski, where we worshiped and served the community for several years. With continued growth, we later transitioned to North Avenue Alliance Church in Burlington, VT, where our fellowship deepened, and our ministry flourished.

          Over the years, Grace United Church has become a spiritual home for many, fostering strong faith, unity, and service within the Bhutanese Nepali Christian community and beyond. Today, our church continues to grow, spreading the message of Christ, nurturing disciples, and serving the community with love and compassion. We remain committed to worship, outreach, and equipping believers as we look forward to what God has in store for us in the future.
